EQUINE SPORTS MASSAGE

Equine Sports Massage is a hands on, non-invasive treatment which can be used alongside most veterinary procedures and in the majority of cases in conjunction with your equine chiropractor, remedial saddler and farrier.
I use a range of professional sports massage techniques adapted from my experience with my human clients such as muscle energy techniques, active and passive stretches and I even incorporate some Swedish massage.

The treatment I provide covers the whole of the equine body relieving muscular tension and any other compensatory problems relating to it. I work on all of the superficial muscles on the horse; however it has also been proven to have positive effects on the skin and the condition of their coat as well as their nervous, skeletal, circulatory and lymphatic systems.

Equine Sports Massage can be used on every horse, pony and donkey from the field companion to the top competition athlete in every discipline.

I always work with veterinary permission, a requirement of the 1966 Veterinary Surgeons Act.
